I can't tell if this is parody or not. It seems like it's parody.

"Poe's law" strikes again?

The fact that people are taking it seriously is a bit worrying.

Bicycles don't balance, the human on the bicycle is the one doing the balancing.

Yes, that is the analogy I am making. People argued that bicycles (a tool for humans to use) could not possibly work - even as people were successfully using them.

People use drugs as well but I'm not sure I'd call that successful use of chemical compounds without further context. There are many analogies one can apply here that would be equally valid.

Bicycles (without a rider) do balance at sufficient speed via a self steering and correction mechanism of the front axle..

So does a tire rolling down a hill.

The people working on this stuff have convinced themselves they're on a religious quest so it's not going to get better: https://x.com/RobertFreundLaw/status/2006111090539687956

Sucks about the foreclosure so you should sign up for welfare services b/c if your finances are that bad then you will need government assistance to get back on your feet.

Very interesting but I'd like to know what is in the custom system prompt.

It’s the default ChatGPT.

Might have something to do with "memory" feature. I have it turned off so when I extended your conversation I didn't notice any repetition: https://chatgpt.com/share/695343a9-8fa4-8009-b35f-fcb5d1471c...

In any event, I don't think you're going to get any kind of support from OpenAI by posting it here. They don't understand how any of it works either so they won't be able to tell you why you get "echoes" of previous answers.

This is nothing, wait until Zuckerberg delivers those 15 virtual "friends" he promised & they start shilling for whoever is the highest bidder.

Is it really "Complex"? Or did we just make it "Complicated"? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubaX1Smg6pY

Programming a GPU in 2025 is complex, that might be because it has been made complicated, but regardless, it is not complexity that this project can control.

The fact that it competes with PyTorch in so few lines speaks to the incredibly low incidental complexity imposed by Tinygrad.

If you think you can do better, the code's right there and you're welcome to try! There's a giant pile of money at the end of the rainbow for you if you can uncomplexify it.

(Love that talk tho)

I don't care for money but you seem to so you should focus on making as much as possible.

> pathologizing the speaker/writer does not contribute to anything either so my recommendation is to leave those out as well.

> There's a giant pile of money at the end of the rainbow for you

This means whatever NNs are currently used for "safety" will need to be extended. In the limit you essentially get another network of the same width & depth as the original network but which is designed for rejecting all "unsafe" queries which are context hijacking bomb construction with stories about fruits.

The money is fake, the burning of fossil fuels & increase of greenhouse gasses is real regardless of what ideology you subscribe to.

Arithmetic is not a categorical theory, meaning there is no unique model for it: https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/4667959/are-there-n...
